Simply a passion to offer unparalleled service!  Our goal is to continuously strengthen the importer’s position and to provide those managing logistics with the most positive experience every single day. This is how we feel we stay most relevant to our customers.   We operate two facilities in South Florida (Pompano & Miami), with 7500 pallet positions and 180,000 sqf under refrigeration.

Our History

Delio Medina’s father working the fertile lands of central Cuba (Las Villas)

Farming, supporting Cuba’s thriving tobacco business, growing crops that would sometimes reach the United States (tomatoes during a Florida winter freeze)
Delio and his nephew Hugo open American Fruit and Produce after working for 12 years in the Miami Produce Market. 25 years later AFP is the premier exporter of fruit into the Caribbean.

2007
Moises Martin, Delio Medina, Jose Medina and Ariel Santos open ACL Miami, starting anew, assisting some of the best produce importers in the country with cold storage.
Pedro Miranda joins ACL, providing great energy and strengthening ACL’s Team. Great partnerships allow ACL to quickly outgrow the 80,000 sqft facility in Opa-locka.

2015
ACL expands business by purchasing a 61,000 sqft facility next to Pompano Produce Market
ACL relocates Miami operation to a 114,000 sqft, Class A facility next to Miami Internation Airport.
2017
2018
ACL continues strengthening its partnerships through value-added services, focusing on bagging and packing of fresh fruit.
Ripening service commences with 3 Thermal Tech conditioning rooms.
